Founder of Marvelous-fx, Matthew Wright is a champion magician of the highest standards. He is one of the most decorated magicians in the UK having won such competitions as The Magic Circle, The IBM and The International Magician of the Year. He was Director of Magic at The House of Illusion- Europes largest magic theatre dinner show and performs his own comedy magic cabaret all across the world.

As well as being known for his magic expertise he also holds a BA(hons) in Special Effects which he aquired from Hertfordshire University.

Matthew decided to set up Marvelous-fx because he grew disillusioned with the state of the modern magic market.

Magic nowadays is so rarely made for the professional magician. Magic props are aimed solely at the hobbyist and are built with budget rather than quality in mind.

Marvelous-fx aims to change that trend, not only with the quality of the products we bring to market, but also with the way we sell them- our unique "Sneak-a- Peak" buying option.

During his three year study time Matthew devoted himself to learning how to craft the finest magic props imaginable. He also studied Theatre Practice at BA level at the much acclaimed Central School of Speech and Drama. He has a solid working knowledge of theatre, engineering, design and design development.

Over the years he has amassed a huge contact book of only the very best in their field- in many different disicplines including magic, design, engineering, theatre, electronics, video editing and promotions. If you can imagine it, we can make it happen.
